Engine coolant flow direction

Engine coolant flow direction
Can't find the coolant flow direction from the workshop manual. This thread has good pictures https://www.rx8club.com/tech-garage-...iagram-183083/ but no flow direction either. I would be specially interested on the flow direction regarding the heater core.

heater core?
look closely to the top of the engine, there is a nipple coming out from the rear hosuing, thats where the hot stuff comes and goes into the heater core
basically the flow direction goes from the front to the rear of the rotor, then goes back to the rad. this is also why the rear is always hotter and wears out faster. and the coolant flows from the intake side first before it does a 180 and back to the exhaust side.

Thanks for the quick replies. By the heater core I ment the one inside the cabin. Just installed the Webasto heater and it seems to make coolant reserve tank to over flow. So the water might be running wrong direction at the moment.
