Engine Coolant Light on.
Hey guys so i was cruising on the autobahn in germany at 235kmh which was about 6500k rpms on the dash and the engine coolant light came on multiple times... as soon as i lay off the gas it goes away. After a few minutes, it comes back again. Water temperature is fine.
I don't understand why i am getting this because i usually cruise for minutes at 8k with no problems... why would it happen at 6500k ? Can it be a dumbass gauge playing tricks on me ?

Sorry man but I'm with RX8Soldier on this one, search.
That link he provided for you is the exact problem that you're having. If you read, it says that it's caused by a faulty coolant sensor that absorbs too much coolant therefore causing inaccurate readings (this mostly happens under higher RPM and hotter temperatures). As long as your levels are fine, and temps are good then there should be no problem. If it bothers you that much, you can fix it by buying a new coolant reservoir.

Closed. Question was answered. If your coolant light comes on and your coolant level is fine, then your coolant sensor is failing and it requires a bottle change. Conditions other than coolant level can change all they want and this won't change the problem on hand or the required fix.
And yes, this one was easily answered through searching.
