Engine Mount adding an Ingalls Stiffy

Hey guys,

I have a few months left of my factory warranty. While all the systems of the RX seem good to me, I took my car to the dealer just to get things looked at one more time. Never would have thought but both motor mounts were replaced! I looked at the mounts before and never even saw fluid come out. hmmmm??

Over my lifetime I have changed many mounts from Hondas, Mercedes and Toyotas. Either they are torn or torn with fluid oozing out.

Just a few days prior I ordered the Ingalls Engine Stiffy. Think this will help the mounts in terms of life span? At what range do you guys see these things fail mounts (on average)?

Okay guys, it is an automatic. I have no desire to track it. I just drive it around to feel all nice inside and pick up my girlfriend in it…….my Testarossa! So what is it that drives these things into destruction? abuse? track? I know manual trans cars can rip these boys in a short time with any kind of abuse. Given mine is an automatic, I guess I just want to know how people feel about the Ingall system?

Car details? Yea it probably would help but they tend to crack early. You'll need to look at it see if it's cracked if it's not shaking.

Sorry, I forgot to include the info...... 06 A/T 35k mod are on the way! Guess my focus was really on the Ingall unit itself.
