ok....i started have in problems with the electronic power steering after shuttin my 8 off and then turning it back on. so i unplugged the batery to reset the computer. that worked for a few start ups. then if failed and i did the same thing. again it worked for a while. then it stoped and now i dont know what to do. the darn light keeps commin on and i have no power steering . i checked all the fused and conections to the steering rack. does anyone have any suggestions

 

which connections did you check for the steering rack??? the location... and what was the lableing on the connectors???

I would check the plug on the radiator shroud on the rt side of the battery box....remove it and spray with WD40 or Silicone and reassemble. I fixed mine like that after the dealer replaced about 3K worth of parts and it still didn't work
