Question Exhaust for 05 RX 8

I just purchased an 05 RX8 and have been looking at exhaust options. Is the greddy any good? Hopupracing has several options. How much different will the car sound? I would like to get cat back to stay in B stock. Thanks in advance for your input.

I've seen some positive reviews for the Racing Beat exhaust. Supposed to give you a 2 or 3 hp increase too.

Racing beat by far. Best sounding RX-8 exaust, makes your car sound very exotic and NOTHING like some ricer honda. You will not be dissapointed by it. Right up there with Ferrari exaust.

I got a ride in the MazdaTrix RX-8 a couple weeks ago and the Greddy exhaust sounded great but was too loud for me over 5k rpm. Have not heard the RB exhaust.

On a side note, their 8 had MS shocks & springs and RB sways and felt great (from the passenger seat) even ok on the roughest roads that the driver could find.

Hymee is gives the growl you want without the steel turning gold like the racing beat's exhaust

I like RB's products (hence the intake and ram air on my car) but Hymee gets my business for the exhaust....it a beauty!

I went with full stainless steel but the Mild steel has the same stainless tips so either is nice

I had my greddy exhaust for about month now, and it sounds awsome.
Some say it is loud, bit I don't think it's THAT loud. It does get loud after 5-6k rpm, but it is very sports car like , nothing like coffee can farts you hear on ricer cars. I also personally prefer the looks of this exhaust over others and the prcing was a good factor as well.

I'd recommend going to Mazdatrix.com and listening to some of their exhaust sound clips. Personally, I prefer the Borla, Racing Beat, and Mazdaspeed exhausts. The few times I've heard a Greddy (in person) it does sound to ricey to me. The other exhausts have a much smoother, deeper sound to them. Just depends on what you're looking for, I guess.

Get the hymee. At normal driving it's a only slightly louder and deeper. When your really pushing the car it comes a live and sounds great. Run through an underpass at 8000 rpm and you sound like a lemans car.
