exhaust help

so on friday i put my ap header back exhaust on and its awesome.however the driverside tip is higher up in the shroud and starting to melt a little. i tried everything but cant straiten it out. i was thinking about getting longer hangers for that side. any thoughts? also after i get this problem resolved how do i get the plastic off my tips?

thanks jesse

thread revival! i'm having the same issue hahah. any help on leveling the exhaust would be awsome if there's any way other than getting longer hangers.

check to see if you can wiggle any adjustments between the catback, connecting pipe, and the cat. if there is any bit of wiggle room in the way the exhaust bolts up they would be there. use that to tilt the exhaust one way or another.

otherwise, you will need longer hangers.

the AP exhaust was just poorly designed. a lot of people including myself have the same issue with one tip hanging too low or one tip being 1/2" shorter. i put a hose clamp around one of the exhaust hangers to level it out, i still melted my passenger exhaust shroud from the tip sticking in too far though
