Finally!
So quite a few months ago i posted how my 8 took her last breath. Now after she has been stored for almost 6 months I've saved all pennies nickles and dimes to revive her. Forum veterans be proud. I've done over 2 week of reading to prepare for the upcoming weeks. I have considered engine swaps from rx7 tt motors along with dealer fixes, and even as far as a few local speed shops.
At this point I think its just best to go with a Reman engine.
I really liked the idea of big Hp#s and all but i'm only working on a budget of about 4.5-5k$
Also there is lots of chatter about swaps but loosing other great features that the 8 has stock.
I've already purchased new tires, fresh tank of fuel, gas cap, coolant, brakes, a decent stereo to replace that bose crap.
The few things I must make a decision on soon are clutch replacement (might as well right?), headlamp self leveling delete mod, coil pack replacement (if needed).
So at this point i'm just wondering have a missed anything?
its been a long time and i don't want my excitement to getting back on the road cloud me from sensible opportunities.
04 6spd mt gt.
opinions welcomed
