First Maintance/Work
So I got the car last week and I'm planning to do couple things this and next week. I want to do seafoam cleaning and I do have couple questions regarding that , I did research but I never found answers for these. How many miles do I have to make after seafoam in order to change my oil?? I would like to change my oil ASAP so I want to know how soon can I do that after I do the seafoam. I also want to change spark plugs and I think i'll do that same day I'll do the oil. And the last thing is a Air Intake , Im thinkin about Weapon-R Dragon ram intake ($150). Do you guys have any advices? Is it ok to do oil , plugs and intake all the same day? Im asking because I've noticed that RX8 is a special car so I just want to make sure Also anyone running that Weapon-R intake?
Thanks
Thanks

You can do oil, plugs and air filter at the same time. If you seafoam (are you sure you need to?), do that before you change plugs.
Aftermarket intakes generally don't do anything except change the sound. IMHO, since there's no gain (and possibly a loss) it's best to stick with OEM filters.
By all means do the necessary maintenance, but don't overthink it. Welcome, and enjoy your car.

Most people would say skip the seafoam. Just make sure you redline the engine a couple times a day, and that should clear the carbon out and keep it from building up.
As for your intake... First off, the engine hp is rated 232 at the "crank" for the Highpower engine (manual 6 speed). At the wheels, your looking at around 170-190whp. Stick with OEM intake. For sound, go AEM or Mazdaspeed
