CA Fitting an OEM DS fender after a 10 cent dent.

Hi all
This my first post but have been a long time lurker. The other day someone backed into the driver side front fender, they also contacted the edge of the door.
The dents location, vent area, is enough to warrant the fender be replaced.

Long story short, the body shop is having trouble fitting New fender. And they want to do a floor pull to bring the top center mounting hole out 1/8". The thing is the fender original to the car, one being replaced, was modified in the same place to fit.
I see no evidence of previously repaired, all factory spot welds are intact and untouched.

It makes no sense to me to do a frame pull to make a fender fit. I am inclined to believe that the body shop has a fender that is out of spec, junk.

If their is someone in the north county San Diego area willing to take a look, I'd be more than happy to pay you for you time and gas

CA

A body shop in Huntington beach help me out. They offered to call the shop repairing my car to discuss the measurment and the manufacture spec.
Bottom line is the process will not compromise the balance of the car. If anything it will make it better. Both shops handled my OCD very well. lol

after I test drive my car, I post the name of both shops in the good guy thread.
