Hello all if you have an rx8 that has the classic ps won't always turn on issue. I can offer a simple suggestion that after 2 months of dealing with it finally fixed my issue. All I did simply is take out the wiring harness for the ps. It's 4 plugs 2 grounds. Take them out clean the ends of all the plugs and the outlets. On the body ground you take off you should see that it's a painted surface, take sandpaper or w/e grind all that pain to bare shiny metal clean the ground port on the rack too. When putting the harness back in put dielectric grease on the front of every plug and reconnect them all. Like I said after everything I did including buying and installing a new rack this 100% solved my problem my guess is the body ground in my case the surface like I said is coated with paint...that's a no no any one should know a ground needs a clean contact surface, paint rust ect can effect the circuit.
