Unhappy flashers stopped working/clicking noise

Alright guys...I made sure I searched for both of these.
Well, the other day... I was being stupid and playing with the remote. I kept on pressing lock and unlock...and out of no where, the flashers just stopped. There was no way that the trunk or hood would've opened. I made sure and opened and closed them just in case as well as all four doors. So...basically, I'm just dumbfounded here as to what happened with the flashers. I know the lights DO work, because the e-flashers still flash...

Also, there has been this clicking noise coming from the direction of the rear left tire. It's almost like a metallic tick noise and it's more audible while cornering. I've read about this and I know it's not really serious...but it's freaking annoying! I kind of have OCD about this and I just hear tick tick tick tick when I'm driving. It amount of ticks increase with speed... I've looked at the bolts and they're not loose. I'll post a picture of the tire tomorrow if necessary.

I don't know the answer, but until you get one from someone who knows: Have you checked the fusebox for a burnt-out fuse?

My rear flashers quit too (and yes, even made sure the truck is closed fully).
I've had my trunk paneling off numerous times, so I'm wondering if I messed sometime up reinstalling that rear panel (goes over the trunk latch).
Not sure if there is some kind of inductive switch that senses when the lid is down, maybe I bumped that out of alignment.
Too dark to mess with that now, but I'll check that and let you know if I find anything.
