Flooding
I flooded my motor for the first time today. I tried starting it using the way in the manual with no luck so I was wondering if I let it sit over night, will it help at all. I know gas evaporates after awhile but since its in the combustion chamber will it. Is there any other way to speed up the process like pulling the spark plugs and trying to crank the motor? I read in my searching that one person took theirs to the dealership and they pulled a fuse and started their car. Which fuse was that?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

If you do a search you will be able to find a de flooding thread. I would just pull the plugs and clean them off and it should start right up. Letting it sit will not help at all the plugs are already fouled.

Hi, I'm having the same problem with flooding. I have 2 ways of dealing with it -
1) Leave the car for about half an hour, then try again.
2) After driving the car, pull up to wherever you're parking, put the car into neutral and let the engine idle for 10 seconds. This clears the cylinders of any petrol that may be in them.
Both these things work for me so I hope they work for you too.
