Corner seal broken
I rebuilt my motor from new (new rotors and renitrated irons) using Rotary Aviation's master rebuilt kit. https://www.rotaryaviation.com/store...haul_Kits.html
After 25hours of playing around, I opened up the engine to check things out after hitting some high coolant temps. Switched over to Atkins hightemp orings while it was open, everything looked good. I must did something wrong though after rebuilding, when I first started it up, I could tell I lost compression in front rotor. Took it apart and a broken corner seal.
Sidenote, will be getting rid of the RA super seals and RA cut side seals and putting back in OEM apex seals and side seals by the letters.
Now I'm going to order a new rotor for this engine, but finding conflicting data which rotor is which.
https://www.mazdatrix.com/product/ro...b-04-on-front/ shows the front with the rotor gear UP the chamfer is to your left.
https://www.mazdatrix.com/product/rotor-13b-04-on-rear/ shows the rear with the rotor gear UP the chamfer is to your right.
Now I have the opposite of what mazdatrix says and I'm pretty detailed when taking things apart. So do these people, confirms the rear has chamfer to the left.

Mazdatrix website has to be wrong ! The rotors are even stamped R and F. I sent them an email, see what they say. So weird...
Back to Corner seals. They have an S or L rank stamp. But the part numbers seem to be the same when ordering. N3H1-11-C20E
