OH fuel cell - spits and sputters on full

Not long I ago I installed a 16gal fuel cell in my 8. Works good all besides I am using a aftermarket fuel gauge. However now when I fill up to a full tank the car spits and sputters and doesn't want to stay running. As soon as it drops right below full in runs like a champ. At an idle though it won't run for more than two minutes and shut itself off. Anyone done this before?? Or any clue as to what is going on here!

How are you venting the cell, what are you using for a pump and how did you handle the return and pressure regulation?

I have the return live hooked up to the oem return and I put in a tip of valve I really done this on my own because I couldn't find much on it as far as an rx8 was concerned. I have a Walbro 255 inline pump. As far as pressure regulation... well.... nothing I could really use some help and maybe a pic or two to help me out.

The OEM fuel system doesn't have a return. It is a dead-head system.

Then how are you managing fuel pressure? You can't just plumb the pump straight to the rail and the OE rails don't have a pressure regulator like the old cars do.
