hey guys real quick.....it says that our fuel injectors needs to be cleaned out after 15k miles....so i was wondering do u gotta take it to the dealership to get them cleaned or can u just use fuel injector fluids that u would put inside the fuel tank near empty that would help solve this problem????

well wen i took it to the dealership to get my oil change he said that the fuel injectors needs to be cleaned out after 15k miles....

 

Run a bottle of Chevron's Techron Fuel Injector Cleaner through it and it will be taken care of. You have to watch what the dealer says, they are a business, they are out to make money, and in this case they are trying to take your money for a not necessary service.

are you familiar with STP fuel injector cleaner?
will it harm by any mean the fuel system?because somewere in the owners manual says"do not use any fuel additives.

 

I have never had a problem with STP products, so I would think you would be ok with them as well
