Does any one have the red clip that goes from the injectors to the main hard line on the side of the engine bay, im missing one, and the wounderful dealer said he can not just get that little clip, wich i find hard to beleave. Or does any work at a dealer to maybe look in to this, i really dont feel like spending 70+ bucks on a plastic fuel line.

 

You can't just buy that clip. Plus the fuel lines really should not be reused, they should be replaced. But if you do find the clip and install the line make sure you use a hose clamp as extra security. A fuel line popping off will result in a fire that will total the car.

 

I know what could happen but the line is in great shape, so im not worried but no you cant just get the clip thats per the dealer but i think you can, i have had issues with this dealer ship in the past but i dont know of any other ones in CT

 

You cannot buy just the clip new. And the line being in good shape has nothing to do with the pressure clip that keeps it attached. When those clips are removed they are stretched out and therefore do not clip on as tight. But hey if your not worried about it then rock on. But don't come crying when your car starts on fire or your engine goes boom from a lean condition when your fuel line pops off.
