Fuel Pump and Filter integrated...
OK - I have some tech info on the fuel system.
When they have to replace the filter, they have to replace the complete fuel pump unit!! I don't know the cost, but it a 60,000km service item (I was told).
Here is some more tech info for you. The tank is two halves separated by the backbone. An ingenious method is used to draw from the left hand tank into the right hand tank.
Another interesting point is the system does not have a return line from the engine, but rather re-circulated in the tank itself. The fuel line to the engine only takes what it needs.

Hmmm... This may be the smoking gun to my weekly CEL aggrevation.
It seems to occur at the < 1/2 tank mark.
No errors (1st visit)
Fuel cap has been replaced (2nd visit)
Upddate to the ECM (3rd visit)
What say you, Hymee?

My CEL was due to water in the tank. One way of cleaning this is to remove the 2 back seats (lower half) to access the 2 inspection openings in the tank. The tank is actually 2 sub tanks, stradling the backbone.
If you drain the fuel out, you should be able to see water in the bottom of the tank, if that is your problem.
