G-Tech Graphs

I'm guessing your car stalling is related. I'm not sure what you mean by alternator fan? What's that? I would find out what is causing your car to stall and get that fixed. Once that's taken care of you may see an improvement. If not I would try taking off the grounding kit next.
Also I don't know what you mean by faulty battery. Do you mean it doesn't hold a charge? that may be a problem and be related to you idle as well. Put a multimeter across your battery terminals and see if you are getting 12 volts when it idles.

In that case I would try and get your idle nailed down first. Fix the idle fix the gtech (like in Heroes).
Your battery could be the source if you think it's going bad. You can bring it to Autozone and they'll test the charge. Then test it on the car at idle and see how many volts you get on a multimeter.

hey Cesar, I just read something in the Gtech manual that may help:
"You need to make sure the g-tech is leveled. It has a self leveling feature. When you are sitting flat and level at idle you need to check to make sure the two G meter bars are almost 0.000g. If they are reading something other than that it will screw up your readings and you will need to "self-level" the unit. You do this by starting an acceleration run and then slow down and stop after the meter starts recording.. The G meters should be at 0.000 after that and it will be leveled.

mysql101: Also read up on the rpm calibration feature of the gtech in the manual. It's on P.146. You'll need to go to configuration mode->calibration->rpms. When the unit prompts you you'll need to rev the car to the required RPM (usually 4000) and hold it as steady as possible until it tells you it's done. After than it should be better at picking up your idle.
It also suggests that some vehicles have a very weak signal at idle. To boost the signal you could try turning on some of your electrical systems like defroster, lights, and your ventilation fan.

I didn't think about this during our conversation in the other thread, you might want to consider changing out the battery cable connectors:
