I cant remember but are you doing any porting?
Stock all the way. Not even polishing or anything just a good cleaning. Car ran good and smooth so I just want that feeling again . My rx3 is going to have more than enough performance once I'm done I wont need 2 cars with performance .

Aren't you in FL? Pettit Racing sells their premix (Protek-R) by the gallon, lol ($50 I believe). That's what I've been using. People swear by the Idemitsu. So I guess either one would be ok. I think the Protek-R is synthetic too, so it might not be that much different. I don't really know, and people argue over these things all day long!!

I hear you. I don't have a place to work on cars anymore, which sux since I have two (the 8 and a truck).

So each time I need to do something I have to haul *** to a friend's house. Very frustrating and inconvenient

I thought the one from Rx8 performance Was a replacement from original relay so all is doing is turning fan on earlier and keeping it fan on longer.

You should of used a grinder .. jk jk lmao no Bro well is too late now but stop what you doing and start a thread and ask what's next or just read peoples thread or ask check out peoples rebuilds, Bro I've had my car since Feb and I'm barely ordering my Rotor Bearing tomorrow , I was not sure till today I wanted it replaced my choice. So just check here and their take your time . I messes around Hondas and old school toyotas and rotary is different to a point . But like everything if you do it right the first time you do it once. Well we all hope.

hard to tell from the pic. Have you measured for tolerances on the housings? Since you are in trouble with the wife already, you might as well spend more money and get new housings

^ lol I think little by little she knows how much but I've kept her happy spoiling her here and their , nothing compare to what I've wasted but she forgets lol,

No I haven't measured anything I'm sure it will be fine , car started and ran good just weak compression and very dirty apex seal grooves, so now with this rebuilt it will be all good, well I hope and nope I won't get housing hell no cant afford it bro , to tell you truth if I've would of listen to my wife I would of had a 3 rotor build installed in my rx3 buy now with what I've spend on rx8 buying car, trip and parts.

And yea tool box is kick *** it actually sounds real good now I can't get rid of my antique radio , this cd players comes with USB for my iPod, so cool

^ yea you right I thought about it , my builder will check it for me . I'm just worry most about the break in process on all the new bearings over anything else . I'm going to see if they can press them today .

Problem is that living in Florida a lot of family and friends come over for vacation and their goes my days working on car. Seriously about a month straight or more every other weekeend someone comes down for vacation. Nice but man I need to finish my car .
