Good mods for longevity of the Renesis?
Im looking to do some mods this Summer for the longevity of the motor and looking for good info.
Im planning on doing radiator and water pump.
I know Mazmart makes a water pump and I think I have heard of a Remedy water pump as well but I cant find info on this?
Also, Ive been thinking of getting the GReddy oil pan as well since it hold 1000cc more of oil. Im wondering if the oil pan will do anything to help keep the oil cool or not. What do you guys think?
Any info would help.
Thanks.

the remedy is the mazmart h2o pump.. so that is covered..
change the oil often.. i would think about a higher weight oil in tx..
as to cooling. the bhr radiator does aid in cooling. as does the mazsport cooling mod.. the ap accesport and racing beat flash also do the same.
the oil pan will gain you little.. i am bugging charles r hill for bigger oil coolers..

Look out for RE-medy radiators and thermostats as well soon. We will provide the best engine oil we find to add to our line-up as well. I'm pretty sure I know what that's going to be but I'm still researching others to ensure we are giving the community the ulimate in quality protection.

Cobb AccessPORT with MM's maps. Among other things, MM's maps lower the radiator fan turn-on temps, and adjusts the oil metering pump profile to inject more oil. There is only debate about the oiling/OMP. perhaps its fine, perhaps it doesnt inject enough oil on the stcok flash, perhaps even after MM's maps on the AP you should still premix.
i think the BEST solution for oiling is the Sohn OMP.... allows you to inject 2 stroke oil into the chambers, but requires you to keep an eye on another fluid level, and more installation/work

i was trying to add this today when i edited my most recent post, but i was too lazy to find out what it costs, lol

all the goodies ... one day these goodies gonna suck all my money out then I will have to sell my blood to continue ... lol
Anyways I was on the Mazmart site, and you can't order it. Theres information on it, but no order form and whatnot. I take it you gotta call them?

True, but I will sell my *precious* only if I run out of options ...
Yes, you have to call them.
If Paul picks up the phone, tell him to give you a *Jackson Discount*

This water Remedy water pump, I've been reading about this. I don't quite get how this is better than the stock one? It prevents cativation (sp). What does that mean? Stock doesn't prevent this mysterious word?

Cavitation is when the pressure of a region of water falls below it's vapor pressure point and thus suddenly becomes water vapor. This can be seen happening underwater around boat props where the area behind the moving prop leaves a void of such low pressure that some water becomes vapor and fills the void. The bubbles of water vapor can then be seen floating to the surface. The prop in your water pump can do the same thing at high enough rpm and causes water vapor bubbles to form in your coolant. Not good.
Supposedly the Remedy pump is designed such that it does not cavitate when spinning at the higher rpms of our engines and so fewer bubbles occur in the coolant.
Bubbles in the coolant adversely affect the ability for heat to transfer out of the engine to a very great degree; and being that you are at high rpms already its about a worst case scenario.

My advice on extending engine life:
Use magnets around your oil filter, have a look at this page car bibles oil page, you'll have to scroll down a lot, search the page for Bear Trap to make it faster. Using magents DOES work well.
Cavitation causes the marbles in a blender sound in the heater core as the bubbles run thru it.
