Greddy Full Synthetic Oil ????

http://www.greddy.com/products/displ...SubCategory=24

*GR Synthetic Oil is made from the finest automotive grade, Group IV, PAO and Ester base oils and specially designed additive packages, the GR oil is designed specifically to protect and enhance modern, small displacement, high horsepower engines. GR-3, the 5W-30 is ideal for high revving normally-aspirated engines, like VTEC Hondas. GR-2, 5W-40 works great for stock or bolt-on turbo kits, while the flagship GR-1, 10W60 is geared towards super high horsepower built-engines with high boost. GR synthetic oil can be purchased at any Authorized GReddy Dealer.*

I've seen places selling the GR 2 and 3 @ about 8 dollars a quart, thats some kinda expensive oil.

Im pretty sure some people heard about it, but no one seems to have any experience about it ....

Greddy/Trust make oil ? Hmm , it sounds kinda like a Re-brand to me.

What you guys think ?

There are only 4 manufacturers of synthetic oil. Half the major brands out there are merely "rebranded" with a few special additives.

Kind of like going to a bar that distills their own Bourbon.

Greddy definitely buys that oil from someone else and puts their name on it just like they do everything else they sell.

RP formulates their own right here in Houston. I've seen it in person. It is resold (without the purple color) under a couple of different names elsewhere in the world such as in Europe. They are the largest maker of supercharger lubricants in the world but also make a host of other lubricants as well from food grade to industrial use. The automotive side of it is actually fairly small. Many of their products for different industries are sold under a different name. Most companies do this.
