GRRR Curb bottomed!!!

So I had a bit of a running/scrapping of the curb with the driver side of the car to avoid a wreck (stupid driver changed lanes on top of me)

I pulled into a parking lot and checked it out, does not appear to be any physical damage oddly enough but there are a few weird things happening that I'm going to look at but would obviouslly like some help in narrowing down before I begin.

First, my exhaust note now sounds like the radio message from independence day (the count down radio signal) above 3k rpms.

Engine seems fine as acceleration and and deceleration are uninterrupted despite the sound same with Transmission shifts are fine.

I noticed also on full lock left hand u-turns the Drivers side door will shake noticeably.

I'm incredibly frustrated with this as nothing appears physically damaged other then some scrap marks. I've been under the car several times and have had my gf follow me in her car to see any wheel wobbles or rubs but she see nothing but everything is telling me somethings not right...

Please help where should I look primarily... anybody else have this sort of incident or symptoms?

Take it to your mechanic and have him look everything over.

if you have comprehensive insurance coverage call your carrier. Since you've stated that you swerved and hit something then it would not be covered under a collision policy.

Definately will look into that if it helps it was a center divide curb and dont ask me how wasn't paying attention at the time but the curbed entered underneathe between the two right wheels and then I bounced over it when the rear went over...

alignment seemed fine as the car still tracks straight and the mazda logo is still centered to the horizon. but will have that checked out as well.

If that ends up the case I certainly won't sweat as much as the BHR Midpipe will arrive thursday. but I'll know better sunday when I get a proper driveway and time to jack up the car.
