Grrrrrrr im so pissed at my dealer!!!! ahhhh
So yeah i just wanted to ventilate about how freakn pissed I am at the dealership. Now I know that doing things yourself is a million times better.
So I bring in the car for an oil change, seafoam (cause i felt like it its been 85000km it was due) and my horn wasnt working. So the guy fixed 1 horn cause there is 2 and the other one is burnt.
I was watching the guy from the window seafoam my car with the zoom zoom cleaner. Basically all he did was open up the small valves and shot some seafoam from the bottle get this FROM A SHORT DISTANCE SPLASHING ALL OVER THE MOTOR!!! not even plugging any tubes or anything to the valve to make sure it goes in right. He let it sit for 2 hours (while they charging me 90$ an hour for that) and then started the car. He didnt bother to unplug the wires and crank without starting. Basically when the car started I barely saw any white smoke at all. Im sure half the bottle fell on the ground. He didnt put any in the gas tank. 200$ gone to waste.
After they took it for oil change. I put in a jug of castrol GTX 5w20 with my oil filter. I drove back home about 50km and I beat the **** out of the car cause i was happy. Come home, just for fun i check the oil. The friggin level was like honestly 2 centimeters over the full line. (a bit more than half inch) I had to go to work by then so I decided to drain 1 litre. I thought it would be more than enough but it wasnt!!! By then it was too late I couldnt lift the car again I really had to rush to work. Its just a tiny thing over full. Im still pissed cause too much oil is realllllly bad. Its prolly worse than not having enough.
The freakn idiot technician at mazda put the whole 5 litre jug of oil without bothering to check the level. How stupid and incompetent can they be. Im sooooooo pissed. There was over a litre of extra oil that i was driving hard on for 50km. What if my engine is permanently damaged and I dont know it.
I usually do everything myself but I bring it for warranty purposes. If anything ever happens I can show the car was really well maintained.

I really hate the dealerships as well, there just making a bad name for themselves nation wide...there almost more trouble than it's worth on those small things...why can't they just do there jobs right?

To OVERFILL ANY CAR IS INEXCUSABLE...PERIOD.
I would be emailing the Dealer Principal (owner) and 'CC' to Mazda NAO......another useless organization.
Thank god Australian Dealers are slightly better trained.....this crap is so 1980's..
What also pisses Mazda owners off is you pay a Premium Price to have sloppy work done on your car!
Get rid of MNAO...they do not deserve to be the distributors of MAZDA!.

I do agree that you got one shitty work-over from that dealership, but -
No, not having enough is still definitely worse.
Im still pissed cause too much oil is realllllly bad. Its prolly worse than not having enough.
