headlight adjustment
hi there guys,
I have a UK rx8 2004 and have brought it to france where im living for the next few months, my plan is to transfer the car onto french plates, to do this i need to get the headlights to point to the opposite side of the road to the uk version.
just wondering is there a way to do this with the UK lights or will i need to replace the complete light assy.
The cheapest i have found the lights for is 650euro for the pair now if i can adjust the Uk ones it would be alot better than paying the 650euro.
can anyone help me out?
cheers

Right behind the passanger wheel facing the front of the car are some small screws that hold the black plastic splash gards up to the fender.
Remove the screws and you can get to your head light.
OR
Remove the battery cover and the computer cover then with a long philips screw dtriver turn the whit plastic that adjust your head lights, well your lights are on and facing a wall at night.
Good luck and dont strip the whit plastic.

Each of the lights has its own Z pattern (where driver's side is lower than the passenger's side). You can try to fake it with headlight adjustments, but I doubt you will get the desired effect. You can lower them such that you don't blind people anymore, but you won't have quite as good of a lit area at night.

I see that you are familiar with my problem-stripped headlight adjustor! When convenient, would you please look at my new thread (Headlight adjustment-RX-8, RX-8 Discussion) and see if you can offer any advice?
Thanks
