If you need a new key, take your vehicle registration and VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) to the Mazda dealer. Once you prove that it is your car they will make you a new key or order one for you.

Metal key is the one you shove into the keyhole and turn. Wireless is the box that has push buttons on it. There are different styles, depending on what year and model your car is.
Can you describe what you have, and exactly what's not working? Also what does work?

You need to find a good locksmith, or a repair shop that specializes in Mazdas. Maybe both.
A good locksmith can cut the key to work in your locks. If you do not have two working remotes, you can't program the remote yourself. It requires the diagnostic computer that dealers have. A really good locksmith might have a generic version that can program the remote.

The key you have is the Valet key. Contact the previous owner and get the owners' key. Unless this was a simple oversight the car is probably stolen. The requirement for involving a Mazda dealer is to make stolen vehicles difficult to traffic. I'm sure you would be able to contact a dealer at some location or the nearest Mazda headquarters to work out a solution if you can prove ownership. Good Luck.
