Replacing my driverside low beam I popped off the clamp (paperclip looking thangy) that holds the light in place. Does anyone know how to get this back on ? Ive felt around and cant feel anywhere it could go .

I haven't messed with the RX-8 bulbs but I would imagine it's like most cars.
Did it come out COMPLETELY or is it swinging freely now?

If it came off completely, there should be a screw that held it in place.

 

came out completely, yeah i see the screw, do i pop that out? or what

 

****! I don't have my Service Manual on this computer so I can't be 100% sure but if it's like my other cars; unscrew slightly, insert clip, tighen screw.

No worries, I'm here to help. Let me know if that solves the issue. once you screw the clamp back in, it should line up right into a slot. You probably have to press it inward and it'll tuck behind a slot of some sort.

I replaced the bulbs on my Ford Explorer 2 days ago so it's fresh in my mind.

 

That was it man, its not in there too good but its holding, ive drove around and its in place. it was kinda swinging loose but it locked in place so maybe itll hold, the screw was as tight as i could get it so not much more i couldve done . Just hope it holds, thanks man you saved me hours
