Help Needed

It would be REALLY handy if you at least told us what year RX you have. This is because some of the cars use a special type of coolant which CANNOT be mixed with regular stuff.
So, given limited information....
If your pressure cap says "FL 22" on it, then you should can only use FL22 special coolant. I think it comes already pre-mixed.
If your pressure cap doesn't say to use the FL22, then a 50/50 mix of regular coolant and distilled water would be good.
BTW, don't open the pressure cap when the engine is hot.
Also, if you have to add coolant, you should make an appointment for a pressure test to see where the coolant is going. If you bought the car used, now would probably be a good time for a flush/refill - and a check of your hoses.
ps. Not hatin' on ya, but - - - Edit your title to be more descriptive - -

wrong wrong wrong.
There is NOTHING SPECIAL about FL22 other than its a regular extended coolant in 55/45 mix (coolant/antifreeze), which is pretty BAD for transfering heat, but it has a very very long life.
Mazda do this because cooling system is the most neglected part in the whole car. People remember to check for oils and stuff(lots of ppl still never check their oil tho), but never pay attention to the cooling system.
so in short, you can just buy some Regular Anti-freeze (the Green stuff) and mix it in. it will work just fine.
but before you add any coolant, you might want to check and make sure that you're actually *low* on coolant, cuz sometimes it might be just a bad coolant sensor/connector.

nycgps. I agree to a point. The Manual does say that if you put in regular coolant: "the engine coolant must be replaced earlier than the specified replacement interval..." I'm just trying to give the O/P the Mazda Recommended advice, in case he is still under warranty.
Not tryin' to start a 5/20 vs 5/30 fight here, lol. ;-)
