To provide you with an update to my original post. It was not the Goodyear Lube place that was trying to rip me off but the two dealers. The one in St. Louis said that the drain plug was messed up, could not be taken out and I need a new oil pan. He also rotated my tires, told me my front breaks were all gone (at 40k miles!!) and I needed rotor and break pad work done. Total estimate was $380+ for replacing oil pan and another $480 for new brake pads and rotor work for a total over $800.

I went back to the Goodyear place, gave him a $6 drain plug. He was easily able to use a wrench and get the old drain plug out,put in the K7N oil filter and the oil I handed him and charged me under $20. I told him about the breakpads,he removed the front tires, took the brake pads out and brought them to me in the waiting room, showed me that they still had 60% wear left and asked if I still wanted pads replaced. I said"no", he put everything back in place and charged me $15. Total cost $35. He has been honest and I can do the oil changes there in the future.
For those of you who ranted about how I should change the oil myself, fact is that I am 64, with a back that was operated on 2 years ago and I can't do it myself like I used to with my Honda Civic in the 70's.
