This is just condensation from the air conditioner. Nothing to worry about.

Revving in hot weather is fine.

If you want to be extra careful, you could install gauges and sensors so you can keep an eye on your oil and coolant temperatures. Guys on the board can tell you what's normal. I'm probably going to do this some time soon.

As for the leak.....are you running your A/c? If yes it just dripping from the evaporator(normal) if it's water...now if it's coolant or something else there is a problem and needs to be fixed asap....

as for reving the 8 can be done in the hot or cold AS LONG AS the car is fully warmed up before going over 4k rpms or so

yeah just dont turn the car on the off right away, if you do, fuel dump it, rev it to 4k, hold on the gas and shut off with your foot on the gas

That's not what Mazda says. Mazda says you should always warm it up. But if you warm it up by idling, rather than driving, then they say to rev it.

No, they say that if you have to shut it off cold, then hold the revs at 3k and turn the car off after 10 seconds of holding.

Did the place you saw that also say to warm for 5 minutes at idle before revving to 3K?

Not disputing...just comparing notes. I'm going by what's in the 2006 Quick Tips. There are other places where Mazda has changed their recommendations. It'll be interesting to see when and how the anti-flood advice morphed.
