How can I find the firmware version?

of the PCM? All my local dealerships want to charge me $100 just to look. I want to make sure I am on MSP-16. Is there any way I can check myself?

Just go to any dealership, or call MazdaUSA, with your VIN and they'll tell you what firmware has been applied, to include MSP's, etc., based on service history logged in their system. Never been charged for same.

The dealerships want to charge me to look, hence why I am asking for another way. I will try Mazda USA
