does anyone know how to change the blade for the "switch blade remote"? I've separated the remote and key but still couldn't figure out how to open the top part.

The only change I know of is to tap out the pin at the base of the metal key part and replace the key portion with a new blank. I don't believe anyone has actually separated the components down to plastic housing and metal parts. That may not be possible without damaging it.
