Question How do I read this coil test procedure?

Ok Guys... I'm starting to see some serious lag in my acceleration, rough idle, and lengthy starts. I have the 07 GT with 63,000 miles on it... After attempting to do my own homework before asking stupid questions, I decided to go with burnt coils. So here I am with a coil out, and i have no idea how to read it. I found this diagram:

http://www.finishlineperformance.com...16-07-1793.pdf

It seems pretty straight forward on page 4. I took my meter and set it to 2000 ohms and these were the readings I got:

A-B= 1500
B-C= 1200
A-C= 1300

For A-B and B-C it states "Infinity or 0 ohm is not normal"
For A-C it states "0 to several kilohm (continuity) is not normal"

Here comes the stupid question(s) of the day...
Does this mean they are good or bad?
Do I even have my meter set to the right scale?
Are the coils even relevant to my problem at all??

Any help would be greatly appreciated, cause I would love to have my wankel power back!

Btw idk that it makes any difference as the lack of acceleration etc happened before, but I did gut my cat 3 weeks ago (still no CEL)

The last one should be C - A, the other two look good. Infinity (or high impedance) would show up as a E or Z on most multimeters, Assuming that you just mislabled the C-A test, then that's showing continuity, you should be seeing high impedance according to the document.

Well I tried C-A and could not get any readings at all... So I just assumed that the actual document had a typo. So I'm still a little confused as to what the overall status of the coil is. Could it be that no reading means infinity?

Testing your coils has been shown to be a waste of time. There is more to what they do than what you can get from simple test via multimeter.

When were the coils last replaced? @ 63k you're probably due for a new set. General consensus is that they start to die or have completely failed by 30k.

Look into replacing them. There's a good deal on a set in the FS section, multiple vendors carry them, and BHR has a whole different and better solution for them.

63k, if these are the original coils replace them all along with plugs and wires. if not how mant miles are on them?

Just confirmed... The no reading on my multimeter Infinite. So this means that everything checks normal with the coils? Do you have any idea what could be causing these problems I'm having, cause all of my searching led to the coils?

Ok, I'm gonna look through all my service reports. I got the car at 29k so idk what went down before then... but if I can't find any report more recent than that I'm definitely replacing them. Thank you so much for the help!

If you haven't replaced them in the 34k you've owned it for, definitely do so. Replace your plugs and wires as well (as 200.mph suggested).

One more quick question. I tested the wire and its reading nearly 2,000 ohms. From my understanding (which is far from good) the less ohms the better, so the closer that number is to 0. However, Idk the relevance of 2,000 ohms in a wire? Is this wire still good, or ok, or completely trashed?

90% of what you read on here about OE coils is BS. It may be them, or maybe not. You'd be foolish to go and replace parts without first getting a proper diagnosis. Those conditions could be caused by any numbers of things, including a worn engine. Taking it to the dealer with a gutted cat is asking for it though. You probably got that idea from here to ...

Ya I gutted the cat out of boredom and pyromania, but I knew that within a year I would have the RB midpipe. As for the coils (and entire ignition system at that) I've been readin about it all day. I'm going to take everyone elses word and replace them. Thanks for your input though!
