How long should the OEM shocks last on this car?

Just wondering how long shocks typically last. I don't think I've ever had shocks replaced on a car. I don't notice any difference in my car (60,000 miles) but I'm just curious. Any ideas? Anyone had theirs replaced from being worn out yet?

Thanks.

Great for you!

Some people report weak dampening at 20k.

Normal Struts are suppose to last 80k.

Go to any shock store and they will tell you the samething. Then again it depends upon what type of miles. Hwy vs city vs country dirt roads.

Also, shocks weaken very gradually so you might not notice that the shocks are getting worn, but if you get replacements the difference might surprise you.

Cool, thanks for the info! I'll have to search around here a bit and see what kind of shocks people are opting for when they replace them. I appreciate the help.

If ou are interested, I have my stock shocks for sale with 9,000 miles on them $150 + shipping or you can pick up in So Cal.

I went with Konis sincle adjustable, highly recommended. But that is what I get for all my cars, no experience with other for many years.

Thanks avakiannl. I'm not ready to replace any shocks just yet, but I will remember your Koni recommendation whenever I do decide or need to do it.
