How to remove the rear license light cover?

Ok I'm stupid. I wanna change the light on my rear license plate and I followed the owner's manual instruction but it didn't help much. So how to take the light cover off? I just dont' wanna break anything. TIA.

I'm not sure what someone here can tell you beyond the instructions in the owner's manual. But, maybe a little interpretation of the instructions will help.

According to the manual, there are 2 tabs on the back edge of the lens that hold it in the mounting. Carefully and slowly apply a minimum prying pressure with the screwdriver at the location of each tab while pulling down on the lens with your other hand. As one tab pops free, do the same with the other tab while maintaining a continuous downward pressure on the lens to make sure the first tab doesn't reseat. When the second tab pops out, the lens will come out. There ya go.

Thanks. Followed the direction and it still took me 15mins to take it off. Maybe mine's just being too tight.
