I need your opinions please.
I just got my car back from the body shop, after a small collision. The damage was to the passenger side, the front bumper headlight, fog light, small part of hood, the fender and small portion of the door. The wheel and upper control arm were replaced as well. Car looks great and drives perfect. Doesn't pull on accel or decel everything is the same...except one thing. When at idle (800rpm) it's fine, but from 1000 rpm to 1200 it's much rougher (more vibration from steering wheel and shifter) than before. I wonder if motor mounts may be damaged or something else??? What do you think.

I do believe portions of our motor mounts are plastic. i read that somewhere. that is possible, pop the hood and look down with a flashlight, you would notice something is up because damage from an accident usually makes paint crack.
is it rough from those specific engine speeds, not relative to speed? (in all gears, or just from first)

And the roughness is only when starting in first and starting to reverse. So it doesn't seem related to speed.

well if its happening just in first and reverse, its about the same speed front and back, and you do feel it through the steering wheel, it could be a suspension issue as well. (tire not balanced properly, something of that nature.

i think it is the motor mounts because 1k -1.2k is the most load you will have on the motor because of pulling the clutch to start rolling the car. In any other gear you dont have to feather the clutch to roll the car and there is no stress on the motor. You would only be doing this in first and reverse. Just my two cents. if you need motor mounts i have some lmk. also have that NSS you needed sorry i didnt get back to you
