I shifted by accident from redline in 3rd to 2nd. The rpms were past 10,000 and I immediately through it into neutral. After that i went on driving the car and it seemed fine but it scared the hell out of me when i smacked forward. If this has happened to you please post if any problems that happened or if you know any info about this please post.

If it runs fine then it should be ok. If you start having problems then you did some damage. No rocket science there. You're probably ok though since you took it out of gear quickly enough. I've over-revved piston engines and they've been ok. Just depends how long it was over-revved.
