Idemitsu Premix Oil Turn Dark?

Hi.

I have been keeping my idemitsu premix in the lucas 5.25 oz containers. Recently I haven't been driving my car as often, maybe ~300 miles a month and I have been noticing my premix in the container becoming darker in color over time, almost to a light shade of brown. Does anyone have similar experience? It doesn't look like the faint yellow color when I first pour into the container. I also may have the container sitting in the sun for an autox or two. I'll take some pics when I have a chance.

I left my premix for 2 months and it still comes out golden(original) color.

So I guess Don't expose it under direct sunlight.

I bought a case of Idemitsu a couple years ago and the now older (unopened) bottles oil are still the original color. They're shaded and again unopened however. So... Sun and/or moisture?

So maybe there are Lucas molecules left in bottle reacting with your Idemitsu. I think others have gotten black stuff on the fuel filter, and they had used Lucas. I don't know how your Japanese premix can go bad even if it turns color. Maybe that's a signal to never use Lucas as its marketed as a cleaner when the rotary just needs 2 cycle lube.

I throughly cleaned the containers several times before using them for premix. Flushed them out with hose and water several times over. I also been using the containers for premix for awhile and not had this problem until now. But I'll take some pictures first chance I get.
