IDLE issues..????

i have a 2004 6spd..it has about 33,000 miles on it. I have intake and exaust. Just recently i have had some issues with the idle. The car has always idled really low, but last night i pulled into my driveway and when i pulled the E-brake and took the car out of gear and let it idle, i heard some NOT SO normal things. The idle was all weird, it would be normal then rev itself to like 2,000 RPM's and then the idle would drop to basically ZERO. It would just about stall and then the computer would catch it i guess and bring the idle back up to 1,000 RPM's or so and this would just continue. Right before i shut the car off the check engine light came on. Then this morning i started the car, it is running and starting perfectly fine, and after driving it and parking, once the car hid idle it began to do the same thing but this time is stalled. I took it to MAZDA and they told me that it was running RICH. and they were being dick's about my aftermarket parts so they didnt really do much for me. It still does it alittle bit just not as bad, but NOT NORMAL. If anyone could help me or have any IDEA please HELP...

Put the factory equipment back in and see if that fixes it.

Reset the ECU and see what it does...if it comes back then you had better get a code reader and find out what the CEL was. Better yet...pull the code now and see what it is.

Tell ur dealership to suck it.

Get a reader, pull the code (or pending code)

Its not cheap, but hey, its a cheap investment compare to the price of your engine.

the intake came on the car when i bought it.. its a ractive..i have takin it to mazda and got some recall stuff taking care of.. new starter... the engine flooded about 2 months ago and i had all the plugs replaced.. i just reset my ECU and took my intake off and cleaned the filter. I put everything back on and tightened it all up. I just took it for a ride and beat on it pretty good and stopped at a couple of lights and it has not acted up yet so lets keep our fingers crossed.. anyone have any ideas or similar problems?
