Yes, the two plugs are very different as you see on the site (run your cursor over each part). Don't mix them up when installing.

Sparkplugs.com seems to have the best price. Go for the NGK, which is original equipment. The Denso are not better, despite their higher price.

JESUS CHRIST I can't get over how much plugs cost for this car.

I'm not sure if I need coils, plugs, or a new intake manifold, but over 7,000 I lose power badly and I can hear a fluttering sound that happens at or over 7,000 RPM.

that *fluttering* sounds comes from the last Aux port connecting together (opening) and Thermostat opening fully (water flowing really fast sound)

Plugs cost more for this car because :

- Its new design
- This plug is designed for this engine exculsivly
- Its not mass produced like other plugs (Main cause)

if RX8 sells like Civic, Im pretty sure the plugs would cost 5 bux a pop.
but if rx8 sells like Civic, I wouldnt even consider this car.

Coil cost about 25-30 each. Coils die because Mazda tried to cut cost this and that. but ended up shootin' themselfs in the foot.
