So I have a Mazda rx8 2004. I just got a cylinder misfire, they said I need new sparks, coils, and wires. My car just hit 100,000 and I haven't change anything since I got it aT 50,000 :0 . Well my question is would the ones from advance auto part work or not ?? I'm a girl and i know sum but not a lot

they will work fine plus they have like a 2yr warranty on coils and 1yr warranty on plugs if im not mistaken
or u could go to o'reilly auto parts...their coils have a lifetime warranty
either one will work fine and there are plenty of step-by-step DIYs if u want to change them yourself and save some $$$

Dont they sell the duralast brand? I figured that would be a worse choice than the oem coils.. I guess if they have a warranty then it doesn't matter if they die early.

Welcome,
You might not need the wires, I haven an 04 and did the plugs and coils, kept the OEM wires. Group here is right, not a bad job. There are several DIYs. Plugs through the wheel well is best approach. Hardest part for me was the coils, I got my son to do it because his hands are smaller than mine.
Some light reading in my signature. You are obviously not a new owner, but the background collection and suggestions for the first $100 have a lot of data.
