Ive read all the debates on Synthetic
But my Walmart carries 0-20 Mobile 1 and no 5-20 in Mobile 1. Would it be o.k. to put the 0-20? I am not trying to ruffle any feathers, I would just like to put the best oil into my car. Reading the past threads I am still unsure about Synthetic but I have used it in all my previous cars with good results. I know the Renesis is different and that is why I am unsure. If I do stick to regular oil what is a good brand (Catrol GTX)? Thanks

stay away from the friggin walmart!!
but on topic- use the oil that is recommended in the manual. it says 5w-20. 5w-30 would probably be ok. what ever brand you use just make sure it meets the reguirements shown in the manual in the certification stamp/circle thingy.

Brand of oil
I've always heard good thiings about Castrol. I used it in my Integras (the last a GS-R) and drove that in track sessions in broiling midsummer heat. It's what I use now in the 8, and would do so even if my dealer didn't use it as his bulk oil, which he does.
