Japanese Market Trans difference?
Anyone know if there is a difference in the Japanese domestic market RX8 transmission (man) and the US market? Different ratios?

I have heard that the Japanese market rx8 is a 5 speed but can't find any information on the net about it. Anybody?????

THE JDM market has two MT's.
One being the 5sp, and on the Rx8 S ver. (i think) has the 6sp.

the 6 speed in Japan has a different 3rd gear versus the rest of the world

Japan 3rd - 1.539 World(AFAIK) 3rd - 1.645
