Just bought a RX-8!

Hi i just bought a 2007 RX-8 and i was wondering if there is anything i can do to it now to preserve the life of the car and make it run just that little bit better. I have already changed the oil but that's it.

I gutted my cat and installed BHR coils two weeks ago, I definitely would recommend both of these to anybody, I didn't like my rx8 much before doing those two things and now its honestly a whole new machine :D way more responsive, way smoother and a lot faster and im pretty sure my cat wasn't even clogged, the honeycomb inside all looked good

Also you will want to clean your MAF and ESS, change air filter

I'd recommend against gutting a perfectly good $1,300 cat. Find someone's gutted one for $100 or less and gut that instead ... or buy a midpipe.
