Koyo Radiator-What is correct Part#?
Hello!
I just ordered a Koyo Radiator (for 2004 M/T RX-8) from Mazda dealer. They have received it and say it looks exactly like Mazda OEM part (and a ? aftermarket radiator) they say the part # of this Koyo Radiator is A2694-K0
When I look up the part online I see V2695 as the part #
The 2694 seems to be for A/T...
Can anyone confirm what is the correct part please?

Thank you for quick reply!
My car is not in warranty I asked if cheaper option for radiator than Mazda, so they buy a "performance.." something brand aftermarket, I said I don't know what that is, if using aftermarket atleast give me something like Koyo.. so they order this.
I didn't know they shouldn't see aftermarket... hmmm...
and.. I am sorry, I am not sure I want used part...
But thanks again...
Do you have a part# for your Koyo Radiator?

It actually worst than stock.
Stock MT radiator is not that expensive anyway, cost about the same as a new Koyo Radiator. (New Koyo could be found online for around 300 bux)
If you really want to go Aftermarket radiator thats "better" than stock, I suggest you to go either Mazmart/Ron Davis or BHR/Giffin radiator. (or Go Mazdaspeed's ,but you need to be registered in Racer program to buy it, cost 600 something)

OK thank you...again!
Now they have the new part, I am going to have to figure out how to refuse it (wrong part# maybe) and just get them to order Mazda part.. of course it is probably not possible for me to be sure they are ordering / installing the right part anyway...

My Advise is to stay away from Koyo Radiator.

don't buy that radiator from the dealership. Koyo = waste.
Get the BHR radiator, it rocks!! I've had it on my car for almost a year now...

Well they have my car: My radiator plug (not sure of the term, that piece which hooks into the hose from the resevoir bottle) is broken/cracked so the car is not drivable (and I saw the radiator out of the car with the problem, lets assume it is *my* radiator and not one they use when they want to sell a new radiator.)
After waiting 3 days for this part and having a rental car (Dealer rented it, but not sure how much of this cost they are going to pay for) I am getting a bit impatient...

Looks like it will have to be next time, I can't wait for another part to be delivered what with the weekend here and my needing to rent a car...
I think I will have to go with their aftermarket radiator (it wasn't Koyo, they said is is "performance..." something brand.. they swear by it and say they use it in "all" the repairs...
I just don't know.. I am not very mechanically/parts knowledgable.

The Koyo they are selling you is not a bad part at all. The one people are complaining about is the aluminum racing Koyo radiator. Koyo is not a bad company. They just seemed to have failed on improving cooling with their competition unit for the RX8.
