LED side repeaters

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone can tell me what I need to make some LED's function correctly as side repeaters.

I only ask cos I remember reading somewhere that control gear is needed to regulate the speed at which they repeat at and also stop them burning out after a month.

The LED's im gonna use need a 12V input and are strips which im gonna mount behind the grill to the back of the front wheel arch.

Any suggestions and tips would be appreciated.

Unfortunately the pictures are gome from this thread, but it may help you with some info, or ideas, or maybe even contacts?

Searching might also help.

Wasn't sure about your term "repeaters"??? Do you mean as in using for turn signals, or so that the strip would light up sort of in a serial fashion? if for turn signals, you should just be able to tap into those.

Advanced search works much better than the normal search, just find the right word(s), like "grill lights", "fender vents", "LED strips", or some combo thereof. You will eventually find info.

Oh.....and check the DIY section on this site as well. Probably be able to locate something there as well.
