The DIY section is for people posting how to actually do something. Cluttering it up with question threads makes it harder for everyone to find what they are looking for. Questions are better posted in the Troubleshooting subforum.
That being said, you have a better chance talking to LS forums. Our ECU pretty much just has the COBB AP for tuning, and basically zero investigation or digging beyond that. Even people that stay with the engine and race it often switch to a different ECU. You are much more likely to find a solution that doesn't involve our ECU at all. This is even before getting into how little documentation there is on LS swaps anyway. Anyone doing them isn't on here (pretty much).
