MAF Sensor
Hi everybody, I toke my car to the dearer today. Trying to figure out what wrong with my car losing power. The dealer told me my MAF Sensor is causing my car to run slow lossing power. Need to replace the new MAF Sensor.
My AEM cold air intake is cauising the problem of oil coming into the engine. I do have my oil catch can install into my car. Dealer told me to put back the stock OEM intake. Could the Dealer be right now this?

Oil can get into the intake if you overfill it.
And it can get there no matter what intake setup you have.
Maybe you had oil in the intake before you installed the catch can?
Usually, cleaning the MAF sensor with contact cleaner and wiping the intake pipe and around the throttle body flap for excessive oil takes care of the issue.
Now if the oil has been on the MAF wires for awhile now... I'm not sure how that'll play and if you can really clean it completely.
Couldn't hurt to give it a good cleanse and wipe.

just like what Jon has said.
Your dealership has thrown u the typical "dealership bs" to you. You cant really blame them, cuz they want ur money (warranty money), but they're not allowed (or lack of knowledge) to work on ur aftermarket parts (AEM = MSpeed tho).
You can put it back to stock first, bring it back let them fix it first, but be prepared as this is going to be a very long process, cuz they will replace piece by piece until they find the "true" cause.
