MAF sensor cleaning

Hi guys, sorry about making a new thread if there has been one. but i just cant spend more time on it right now. hope you wont blame me. well, i did search for a bit.
Can anyone please give some help with cleaning the MAF sensor. cuz when i got my car back from dealer, the car still seems to have a little jerk at idle. of course it doesnt stall anymore; tonight, i put my stock intake back with a k&n filter. but it stills jerks, but a little bit better and less often than with my SR intake.
Now, i am thinking if its because of the MAF sensor cuz probably its got some k&n oil on it. cuz last time when i had stalling problem, that was just right after i cleaned my filter.
GUYS, please help.....
thanks

get some crc electric parts cleaner and go to town.

BE VERY CAREFUL not to touch any of the sensor with the tube from the cleaner.. but just clean everything.

Many people don't know that the actual 'sensor' part is actually up inside the body of the MAF - look up into the tube - make sure you spray the tiny wire, and of course, don't poke it with anything.

ya think?

you might just leave the stock box in for a while and enjoy....

the sr intake never did real well without lots of work...

on a side note.. after a ecu reset, it takes several drive cycles for the idle to settle down..

a little bird told me that CRC QD electric parts cleaner (the paper tape safe one) is like 99.9% (check the data sheets for yourself) the same stuff and can be found at any home depot for like 4 bucks. I have yet to see a shop in real life that carries the MAF specific product.

If i remember correctly the only difference is the selection of a proprietary solvent.

I bought the CRC MAF Cleaner at Oreilly autoparts. It was like $5 or $6.
