Mazda Rotary Engine Schooling
If anyone is intertested in the history of the Wankel engine and the cars that it powered, check out www.monito.com/wankel. Owing an RX-8 is owning a piece of a tradition of innovation and great risks on the part of the automakers that went another way with the rotary. That may sound saccarine, but it's true and I hope that the new members of the rotary community get to know the history behind their new rides. Also, www.roadandtrack.com has a fascinating article about Mazda's first sports car, the Cosmo Sport. Do a search for the article, it's worth it.

Brings back memories. The car, not the web fail. When I was learning to drive back around 1980-81, my sister would come by and pick me up in her boyfriend's yellow 79 RX7. That was a seriously cool car to a 14yo kid. Lol

Honestly I caught a bunch of old threads highlighted at the top maybe an hour earlier and caught it, went wtf and exited the page and came back, and then it was fixed. nycgps made an empty post around the same time which isn't supposed to happen. I could jave sworn this thread was highlighted at the top of the forum which is why I opened it. I think the site went a little nuts last night, but I've also done my share of stupid stuff too so who knows.
