Your throttle body has a problem, and its a problem that spraying tb cleaner can't fix (it has something to do with its sensor inside the TB)
You will 99% need to buy a new TB. which is about 500 bucks.
MSP16 did not kill your engine, its just that stock ECU is good at masking problem (older ECU flash that is)

the OP's description of the "issue" sounds exactly like a ECU that needs to relearn the fuel trims.
You'll need to drive it for a few days and get a few drive cycles under your belt. It will function normally after that.
Alternatively, you can get the cobb accessport and get a custom map that has the correct fuel trims so that even when it's reset, your car drives normally right away.

The volkswagon owner got it correct.
IT's the ECU re-learning. Car always acts like this after a flash or clearing.
Just clear the ECU again to get rid of the cell.
Drive it for a few cycles and she will be fine.
If you have tooo........ keep your foot on the gas when you stop.

Car idles a little better now It wont turn off if i back out of a parking spot but as soon as i hit highway speeds and let of the gas it turns off. Seems like its getting A little better though Slowly. Havent had time or money to get it looked at.
Cleaning the throttle body wouldnt be a DIY would it? Sounds Very technical

OMG!

WOOO WHOOO!
well for almost 2 weeks car was still dying out on me. Seemed like the whole relearning thing
wasnt the problem, so i went out bought some throttle body cleaner and went at it. Hour later-
Car is back to normal
just wished i did it sooner

Glad that the suggestion worked. Like I noted earlier, the dealership that I went to just sprayed the hell out it with the TB cleaner. Mine is still running fine more than 15K miles later. Sometimes the simple fix is what works.
